The Vizio Makeup Academy scholarship combines several connected areas of the beauty and wellness industry within one award. Recipients are not limited to exploring only one category of professional service.

Professional Makeup Kit and Brushes Included

Each scholarship recipient receives one professional makeup kit and one professional brush set through the Elite Makeup Course.

These materials can support practical makeup application, technique development, and early portfolio work.

The other four courses do not include kits, physical products, tools, or supplies.

Career and Business Preparation

The training introduces career-oriented topics such as portfolio development, client consultation, pricing, scheduling, marketing, professional branding, and freelance business preparation.

Developing technical skills is only one part of pursuing a beauty career. Artists must also learn how to communicate with clients, present their work, manage expectations, promote their services, and build a professional reputation.

Flexible Training for Busy Applicants

Recipients complete the training at their own pace.

This format can support high school students, high school seniors, college students, cosmetology students, parents, licensed professionals, licensed pros, freelancers, and applicants already enrolled in another beauty or cosmetology program.

Applicants must have reliable internet access and a suitable device for completing the training.

No Previous Professional Experience Required

Applicants do not need previous professional experience.

The scholarship is open to beginners, working beauty professionals, future stylists, content creators, students, and career changers who are prepared to follow a structured training path.

Successful professionals never stop learning. The beauty industry continues to evolve as techniques, products, client expectations, trends, and professional standards change.

The Scholarship Application Process

The application process is free and designed to help Vizio Makeup Academy understand each applicant’s background, goals, motivation, financial or access-related challenges, community involvement, and commitment to completing the training.

This is not an apply-anytime scholarship. Applicants must submit the application form below before the published deadline.

Step 1: Complete the Scholarship Application

Complete the official scholarship application form below using accurate personal and contact information.

The application asks about:

• Your current school, work, cosmetology, or beauty-industry background
• Your interest in makeup artistry and professional beauty careers
• Your current skills and professional interests
• Your short-term and long-term career goal
• How receiving the scholarship would help you
• Any financial, educational, or access-related barriers you are experiencing
• How you plan to use the five included courses
• Your commitment to completing the training
• Your work, volunteer, leadership, or community involvement
• Ways you hope to help clients, your family, or your community through your future career

A transcript, professional portfolio, recommendation letter, or proof-of-income document is not required.

Applicants must complete the required eligibility, scholarship-term, guardian-consent, and privacy confirmations.

Applications opened on June 12, 2026 and must be submitted by August 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Step 2: Application Review

Applications will be reviewed using the published scholarship selection criteria.

The review will consider:

• Genuine interest in makeup artistry or the broader beauty industry
• Clear and realistic career goals
• Motivation to develop practical and professional skills
• Commitment to completing the five included courses
• How the applicant plans to use the training
• Financial or access-related need
• Work, volunteer, leadership, or community involvement
• Potential for the scholarship to make a meaningful difference
• Quality, honesty, effort, and completeness of the application

Applicants do not receive preference because they previously purchased a product, enrolled in a course, followed Vizio Makeup Academy on social media, or had another commercial relationship with the academy.

Step 3: Winner Notification

Two applicants will be selected.

Scholarship recipients will be notified by email on or before September 15, 2026.

Selected recipients will receive enrollment and training-access instructions by September 22, 2026.

An applicant is not officially accepted until written confirmation is provided by Vizio Makeup Academy and all required acceptance steps are completed.

Applicants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Guardian consent may be required before the scholarship is accepted or course access is issued.
