This year, Vizio Makeup Academy is honored to support Mehron’s incredible campaign by giving away a full SFX Makeup Course to one of the talented winners. It’s our way of celebrating artistry and helping the next generation of makeup creators learn, grow, and continue their craft.

With so much talent and so many jaw-dropping looks expected this year, Mehron decided it was time to raise the stakes and bring in an even bigger team of judges. The 30 Days of Halloween contest has always celebrated bold artistry, but 2025 is shaping up to be the most competitive year yet—and Mehron wanted a panel powerful enough to match the creativity pouring in. So, they’ve assembled a lineup of industry heavyweights, from horror directors and prosthetic innovators to drag icons, past champions, and global educators. This dream team of judges will make sure every finalist is evaluated with expertise, fairness, and just the right amount of Halloween magic, while offering aspiring makeup artists valuable insight and real feedback.
In the most on-brand twist of the season, the Mehron Team is—quite literally—on the night shift. These bat-tier judges take winged eyeliner seriously (as in, wings), scoring every 30 Days of Halloween entry for originality, transformation, clean execution, polished presentation, and pure fang factor. At dusk they sift through submissions; by midnight they’re posting shout-outs, story polls, and bite-size critiques across social—so tag #MehronHalloween to get on their radar. Expect weekly spotlights, running finalist tallies, and winners unveiled right around the witching hour. It’s equal parts rigorous and ridiculous: meticulous notes, bold concepts, seamless blends—and the occasional squeak of “more drama!” from a judge hanging upside down. 🦇
